Sr. director of Accounts

Zach Brown

Zach Brown is Sr. Director of Accounts at RYE Strategies, where he leads client strategy and account growth across the firm's portfolio of political, public affairs, and corporate clients.

Zach brings more than a decade of experience in Republican political strategy, with senior roles on federal, state, and local campaigns and account leadership at a top political digital advertising firm. He has advised candidates, agencies, PACs, and advocacy organizations on integrated programs spanning digital, direct mail, SMS, field, and fundraising, and is focused on serving as a strategic partner to RYE's agency clients and direct accounts.

Zach's campaign work has spanned some of the most competitive races in California over the last decade. He served on the staff of Assemblyman James Gallagher for nearly ten years, working in both the district office and the State Capitol during Gallagher's tenure as Assembly Republican Minority Leader. During that time, he helped pass legislation securing $2 million in state funding for the California School for the Deaf and led a coalition of community leaders, hospital administrators, and county officials that successfully prevented the closure of a rural hospital in Colusa County, preserving healthcare access across the region.

In 2016, Zach managed the Northstate Victory Headquarters for Congressman Doug LaMalfa, State Senator Jim Nielsen, and Assemblyman Gallagher, anchoring one of the largest coordinated voter turnout operations in the state that cycle. He went on to manage Assemblyman Josh Hoover's 2022 and 2024 campaigns, securing a landmark Assembly win that flipped a seat red for the first time in over a decade and successfully defending it two years later.

Beyond California, Zach served as a national Training Specialist with the Leadership Institute, where he designed and delivered candidate training programs for school board candidates across the country, reaching more than 500 participants and leading a pilot initiative focused on battleground school board districts in key suburban corridors.

A native of Cool, California, Zach attended California State University, Chico, where he studied Political Science and joined the Sigma Nu Iota Kappa chapter. He later served as president of the chapter's alumni association.

Zach lives in Northeast Florida with his wife Bree and their two daughters, Stevie and Ozzy. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and staying active in sports.
