Bert Ralston

Bert Ralston is a Senior Vice President and partner of RYE Strategies, a digital ad tech firm and previously founded Vox Populi Communications, a government relations, public affairs and crisis management consulting firm.

 

Mr. Ralston has been actively engaged in the creation and influencing of public policy and opinion for most of his career.  After working at a senior level for the National Republican Congressional Committee in Washington, DC, he returned to Florida where he has advised races ranging from the bottom to top of the ballot.  He is a recognized expert in voter turnout programs, message development and crisis management strategy.   He has authored successful legislation at the state and local level.

 

Ralston has represented corporate clients including Chevron Energy Solutions, MDI Holdings, I Squared Capital and 21st Century Energy Solutions, non-profits, Episcopal Children’s Services, daniel, Lutheran Social Services and Family Support Services.  He has advised Fortune 500 companies and represented their interests in front of the municipalities, the State of Florida and the United States Congress.  He has advised over three hundred candidates that have been elected to local, state and federal offices with an eighty percent success rate.

 

Mr. Ralston is a published author and featured speaker on topics ranging from voter turnout, strategic messaging and government affairs.  He has been a featured analyst on Fox News, MSNBC and CNBC, as well as numerous state and local news organizations.  Mr. Ralston has lectured on communications strategy at Stetson University, The University of North Florida and The University of Florida Graduate School of Political Management.

 

Mr. Ralston is a former President of the Rotary Club of Keystone Heights (PHF), a member of the Capitol Page Alumni Association a past member of the Board of Directors of the Riverside Fine Arts Association, founding President of the Robert E. Lee Alumni Association, a member of the American Association of Political Consultants, a former member of the Board of Governors of the Florida Yacht Club and the Past Commodore of the Florida Council of Yacht Clubs. He is a graduate of the University of North Florida with degrees in Political Science and History.  Mr. Ralston and his wife, attorney Sandra, live in Jacksonville with their two knuckleheads Buckley and Pepe and attend Holy Trinity Anglican Church.
